Over the years we have welcomed visits from school children and pre-school children, both inside the house and in the garden. Students from Cullompton Community College joined us to plant trees and Spring bulbs in the garden.
The Children from Willowbank School have visited on several occasions. The house itself was used to support the teaching of Tudor and Stuart history, within the National Curriculum. Children also sketched features of the house and gardens and used the hall and parlour as a stimulus for creative writing, imagining life as it was in the house in the 17th Century.
We welcomed a local artist, who led children in the creation of paper flowers to decorate the garden.
